5 Tips If You Overate.
How to balance mindful indulgences and feeling your best.
Drop the guilt! Overeating happens to everyone from time to time. Take a deep breath. SMILE. It was one day. Refocus on your health ... you will achieve your health and weight goals!

Set yourself up for success. One holiday will not set your progress back ... but one week of leftovers might. Stock your home with lots of healthy options and get rid of all of the leftovers. Bring them to the office. Give them to a friend, neighbor or cleaning lady. Throw them out. Set up your environment so that it is easy to be successful.

Stick to your regular program: rather than skipping meals, focus on adding in protein and nutrient-rich vegetables to each meal. Try colorful salads, roasted vegetables, and comforting soups. Ask your provider for some recipes if you are struggling for ideas!
*
Gentle movement: if you can sneak in some gentle exercise, awesome. A relaxed walk or light stretching is perfect –– no intense workouts needed. Just get your body moving in a way that feels good.
*
Hydrate: keep your water bottle filled, add fresh citrus, or enjoy warming ginger tea to help your body naturally rebalance. This will help to flush our toxins (and sodium) and help your body reset.
